Chillon Castle

Chillon Castle in its present form is the result of several centuries of construction and redevelopment. The rocky island on which the castle is built provided both natural protection and a strategic location to control the passage between northern and southern Europe. The fortress, built on a real island, has been shaped like an oval. It measures approximately 100m by 50m. It also took its name from the rock, from an ancient language, in which the word "Chillon" means rocky platform.

Swiss Vapeur Parc

The Swiss Vapeur Parc is a 19,567 square metre model railway park on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The park exhibits model locomotives equipped with real steam engines or electric motors, as well as replicas of buildings in the region.

"Belle Epoque" boats

CGN sails the most prestigious Belle Époque fleet in the world. Its mission is to preserve this unique heritage. As such, it strives to renovate and preserve these ships as close as possible to their original appearance. It also collaborates with the Musée du Léman in Nyon, which keeps its archives.

Museum of Photography

Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, on the Grande Place in the heart of "Vevey, City of Images", the museum offers visitors of all ages the opportunity to discover the history of photographers and photography, its inventors and its techniques through an exceptional collection of images and instruments, some of which can be handled.

Museum of Games

The Swiss Game Museum was designed by Michel Etter and opened in 1987. Since its foundation, it has been supported by the Association of Friends of the Museum and in 2004 a Foundation was created. Until 2017, no less than 27 temporary exhibitions have been held. The Museum has not lost its position as the only museum dedicated to the cultural history of games in Switzerland. Today, it enjoys an international reputation!

Located in Vevey, on the shores of Lake Geneva (one of the stops on the romantic journey of the "Grand Tour"), the museum enjoys a loyal following of visitors to the legacy of Rousseau and Byron, as well as the support of art lovers, both informed and neophyte.

Gruyère

The picturesque town of Gruyères lies at the foot of the Pre-Alps in the canton of Fribourg. The pedestrianised town, its cobblestones and fountain invite you to take a gentle stroll. The medieval town has given its name to the region of La Gruyère and to its tasty cheese, Gruyère AOP. A town of culture, four museums are open to you: the Château de Gruyères which dominates the town, the museum and bar of the artist H.R. Giger presenting the fantastic works of the creator of Alien, the Tibet Museum as well as La Maison du Gruyère.

Tennis 5 minutes from the hotel

The Vevey Tennis Club is located in La Veyre, in the commune of Saint-Légier, near the Vevey motorway exit. The sports facilities consist of 6 indoor tennis courts (open all year round) and 9 outdoor clay courts (open from the end of April to the end of September). They also include a multi-sports hall dedicated primarily to badminton (4 courts) and basketball. Numerous tournaments are organised in winter and summer.

Lavaux Golf Club
